Bike Riding
Given our previous ownership and operation of Action Bike & Ski, our love for bikes (particularly Scratcha’s) runs deep. That’s why we couldn’t be happier having the bike path from Yarrawonga to Byramine Homestead located right in front of our resort.
This bike track also offers the opportunity to explore the scenic river tracks, where endless biking adventures await. Scratcha is more than willing to provide you with valuable insights and even tag along (time permitting) with you on a ride to show you the best spots.
Lots To Explore
If you are serious riders and fancy a weekend of riding you can also ride from Mulwala to Corowa on the newly constructed Federation bike path; the Corowa-Mulwala trail connects the two towns via a 45-kilometre two-metre wide sealed bitumen trail along the road reserves and along the river.
A major feature of the trail includes a 200m boardwalk over Lake Mulwala near Drain Lane, and easy access to many parts of the Murray River, giving a scenic ride a majority of the way.
A great 2 day plan for a stay would be riding the Mulwala to Corowa with lunch at the Corowa Whiskey & Chocolate Factory(we can work with you to get your bikes back if you don’t think you can make it back), back here to the resort for a nice relaxing night (soak in our bath tubs in the bathhouse, or in your room) then next day a shorter easier ride from the resort to Byramine Homestead via some of the river tracks and back to the resort.
Packing the bikes is a must for the kids and the entire family as it’s only a 7km ride into town for a picnic on the foreshore as well.
