How to Choose a Wedding Venue

Choosing the right wedding venue is one of the most important decisions you will make when planning your big day. You want to make sure that it is easy for everyone to get to, that’s there is enough accommodation for your guests, that any special requirements are catered for (e.g./ for any guests, including the likes of grandparents or wheelchair guests that need special requirements).

At Airtree Golfers Resort we have sleeping capacity for 35 guests in our 9 self contained rooms.  For the overflow of guests we have a very large camping area which can host caravans, swags, bell tents and more! 2. Size Matters: Make sure the venue you choose can comfortably accommodate your guest list and the type of ceremony and reception you envision. Think about the flow and functionality of the space and make sure it fits your needs. Don’t forget to consider the size of the dance floor and the size of the tables you’ll need for dining.

We have an indoor room which looks magical when decorated for a wedding. The room comfortably suits 80 people cocktail style, and 60 for a reception type sit down style – the undercover space is also a great plan B back up room for bad weather if you decide to have an outdoor wedding on our grounds.

3. Style: Choose a venue that aligns with your personal style and the overall feel you want for your big day. Whether you prefer a modern and minimalist look or a classic fairytale setting, make sure the venue matches the vibe you’re going for. Take into account the architecture, natural surroundings, and the existing decor of the venue.
